Description

• Support prototype vehicle commissioning activities at the production line
• Install/connect ECUs and support hardware commissioning (bring-up) tasks
• Flash ECU software packages (bundles) and the required datasets/parameter sets
• Troubleshoot issues during flashing and commissioning (wiring, CAN/LIN communication, dataset/configuration)
• Execute and document L1 integration tests; support finishing, validation, and vehicle sign-off
• Maintain commissioning checklists and ensure traceability of software/dataset versions

Job requirements

• Solid understanding of typical ECU programming/flashing workflows and prerequisites
• Experience with ECU flashing/programming and vehicle commissioning (prototype or production environment)
• Good understanding of CAN/LIN and practical use of Vector CANalyzer and/or CANoe
• Hands-on electrical skills: repairing/installing wiring harnesses, and assembling small connectors/plugs and harness sections
• Fluency in both German and English (spoken and written)
• Structured working style with strong documentation skills; MS Office proficiency (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)
• Truck driving licence (e.g., C/CE) is a plus
