Rate of pay is - £74,520.00 per annum
Texan Type Rating of £2,500 following the successful completion of the Texan
Type Course (UK CAA AML endorsed with Textron Defence 3000 – PWC PT6)
Summary
Self-motivated individual supporting Line and Base maintenance, supervising Technicians and demonstrate a flexible working attitude in a fast-changing environment.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential experience Experience of working in a UK CAA Part 145 environment.Experience of supervising staff.Experience of working and certifying maintenance within Line and Base maintenance.Experience of working closely with multi-site teams, building relationships and leveraging them to deliver outstanding performance in a highly regulated environment.
Desirable experienceProficiency in use of common software packages including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Power BI, Microsoft Project.
Essential Qualification:
UK CAA Part 66 B1 LicenceAbility to acquire UK security clearance.Full UK driving licence.

UK CAA Part 66 License C RatingInitial Human factorsCurrent SMS trainingCurrent EWIS trainingCurrent Fuel Tank Safety Training. Holds Type Approval on Company aircraft.
Carry out and certify routine and non-routine maintenance including defect rectification within the line and base maintenance environment, working within both the CAA & MAA Regularity requirements.Updating maintenance records within the company’s maintenance information software.Supervising and monitoring the performance of engineering staff (Technicians), providing guidance when appropriate.Support Affinity operations, as required.Promote, endorse, and comply the company’s Quality and Health & Safety procedure.The above is not an exhaustive list and you may be expected to perform additional duties that fall within your skill and competence.
Essential Competencies
Detailed knowledge of UK CAA Part 145 regulations with working practices and acceptable means of compliance within an Aircraft Maintenance Environment. Detailed knowledge of Aviation Safety Management Systems (SMS).Understanding of UK CAA Part CAMO regulations. Understanding of UK CAA CAP 562 Leaflet B-40 CAA Oversight of Military Registered Aircraft (COMRA) – Policy and Principles. Understanding of MAA regulations. Enjoy working both indoors and outdoors, as well as in all types of weather conditions. Fluent, both written and verbal, in English.
