We are seeking a Quality / Test Engineer to support product quality, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives for MineStar Detect technologies. This role will have a direct impact on product performance, customer experience, and overall quality outcomes through hands?on investigation, troubleshooting, and product support activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support continuous product improvement by evaluating defects, issues, and failures in production products
- Perform product validation, testing, and quality assessments across hardware and software components
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and diagnose application and technical issues in both internal and customer?facing environments
- Establish and support quality processes, sampling procedures, and data collection methods to evaluate product reliability and performance
- Analyze quality and reliability data to identify trends, root causes, and corrective actions
- Support external customers by providing technical guidance and product issue resolution
- Collaborate with global, cross?functional teams to drive effective problem resolution and product improvements
- Assist with project management activities related to quality initiatives, product updates, and corrective actions
- Contribute to documentation, training materials, and reporting related to quality control and product support activities
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in quality engineering, test engineering, product support, or service engineering
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate degree considered
- Experience supporting technology in an industrial, production, or equipment?based environment
- Strong problem?solving and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation
- Experience collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing data from multiple sources
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work directly with customers and internal stakeholders
- Project management experience supporting technical or quality initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Product support or field support experience
- Exposure to mining, heavy equipment, or industrial technologies
- Experience supporting both hardware and software issues
- Familiarity with continuous improvement or corrective action processes
