Verdener Keks- und Waffelfabrik Hans Freitag GmbH & Co. KG is an owner-managed family business in Verden that has been producing fine baked goods with great care and love for more than 76 years. We produce around 130 different biscuit and wafer products in bags and other packaging and market them nationally and internationally.

Part-time Quality Manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for a committed addition to our quality management team (25 hours/week) for a fixed term of one year, starting immediately.

Your tasks:

• Creating and maintaining specifications and customer questionnaires
• Creating and checking primary packaging declarations
• Assessing products and analysis results in terms of food law
• Assisting with the preparation of certification/customer audits
• Assisting with general QM activities (e.g., plant tours, training courses, etc.)

Your profile:

• Bachelor's degree in food technology, ecotrophology, or a comparable field
• Initial experience in quality or specifications, ideally in the food sector
• Knowledge of national and European food law
• Structured, reliable, and decisive approach to work
• Strong organizational skills and good English skills
• Confident use of MS Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

• Temporary part-time position with comprehensive training in your new job
• Attractive pay in line with the confectionery industry pay scale, starting at pay grade G with a gross salary of €3,899.50 for a 38-hour week
• Christmas bonus equivalent to one month's salary and annual pay increase in line with collective agreements
• 30 days of vacation per year and additional vacation pay
• Two days off on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve
