Junior Financial Reporting Analyst: Your future position?
As a Junior Financial Reporting Analyst in our Vernier site, you will support the team by participating to the monthly reporting and consolidation process and will be involved in strategic projects. Your main contacts and stakeholders will be the Group Consolidation, Reporting & Accounting Manager, the Head of Reporting & Control, the CFO, EC members, Local finance managers, GBS team members, FP&A controllers, and the Auditors. You will directly report to the Group Consolidation, Reporting & Accounting Manager
Main responsibilities:
- Perform monthly consolidation activities, such as preparing reporting instructions, preparing monthly BOFC settings and open consolidation packages in BOFC, publish exchange rates
- Prepare and post adjusting consolidation journals,
- Perform specific analysis and reviews of reporting submissions such as Headcount, Intercompany reconciliations, Balance Sheet reviews, Other operating expenses etc…
- Prepare high quality internal reporting for senior management, such as Head of Reporting & Control, CFO, EC and Board members
- Perform Financial statement and ad hoc analysis: preparation, maintenance, validation, reconciliation of accounts and balances
- Be one of the key contact for the Group external auditors
- Participate in the Budget process and ensure that targets approved by the Top management are reflected in the reporting / consolidation system
- Prepare financial data for the half year and year end consolidated financial statements and quarterly sales publications
- Review all externally published media releases and reports which contain financial data
- System responsibilities for BOFC and FIM: Ensure availability of data, confirm accuracy and quality of data, maintain tools up to date
Your professional profile includes:
- University degree in Finance or Accounting
- Relevant working experience in Reporting, Audit or Consolidation is not required but up to 2 years of relevant working experience is a plus
- Fluent English level (knowledge of French woudl be beneficial)
- Knowledge of MS Office applications
