Four our Site in Visp, we are currently looking for an EHS Manager Process Safety (m/f/d). The EHS Manager Process Safety is, as expert function, responsible for the successful implementation, supervision and optimization of Environmental, Occupational Health, and Safety (EHS) programs for Visp site (Manufacturing & laboratory facilities and Services & Site Infrastructure). The role is also responsible for the development and execution of continuous improvement strategies related to EHS process safety.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for the EHS program at the Visp site with a focus on process safety management

• Develop and continuously improve the EHS process safety management system in line with global and international standards

• Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and international standards related to process safety

• Collaborate closely with EHS functions at Visp to implement EHS concepts and programs

• Select, train, and support the use of tools and data systems for EHS process safety

• Handle external process safety consultants and act as the Lonza counterpart for process safety lab services

• Conduct plant walk-throughs, short audits, and inspections, and drive the development of dashboards and performance monitoring systems for process safety

Key requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Process Engineering, Biotechnology, or equivalent

• Safety Engineer (Sicherheitsingenieur) EKAS / SUVA and shown experience in process safety

• Profound work experience within the Chemical, Pharmaceutical or Bio-manufacturing industry

• Confirmed process understanding in Biopharma manufacturing (safety aspects)

• Very strong communication skills, both verbal and written in German and English

• Strong presentation skills for developing and delivering training to elevate knowledge, skills and behaviors at multiple levels of the organization

• Dealing with high level of ambiguity using coaching skills
