What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of supervisors and specialists, including coaching, qualification, recruitment, and performance management.

• Oversee daily production support activities, covering production planning, plant logistics, and material supply.

• Drive supply chain transformation initiatives—such as SAP EWM deployment—ensuring alignment across Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and global functions.

• Serve as the key operational interface for supply chain and logistics projects, representing Microbial Operations in cross-functional initiatives.

• Ensure strong change management execution with timely and transparent communication to stakeholders.

• Manage cold-chain operations and all related storage environments, including day storage, tanks, and refrigerated containers.

• Oversee process orders, quality orders, and contribute to cost-optimization efforts supporting operational targets.

What we are looking for

• 7–10 years of experience in operations, plant logistics, or supply chain within a GMP-regulated biotechnological or chemical manufacturing environment.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related discipline; Economics is considered an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of SAP EWM, SAP S/4HANA, SAP MM, MES interfaces, and supporting systems such as Trackwise, DMS, and LIMS.

• Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to guide, develop, and motivate diverse teams.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across production, quality, supply chain, procurement, and IT.

• Highly organized and solution-oriented mindset, with strong planning, prioritization, and problem‑solving capabilities.

• Fluent German and business-fluent English.
