Proclinical is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to conduct microbiological analyses with a focus on germ identification using advanced techniques. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards while contributing to method implementation and documentation.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.

Responsibilities:

• Perform microbiological analyses, including germ identification using PCR and mass spectrometry, as well as endotoxin measurements.
• Implement analytical methods, evaluate results, and prepare reports.
• Document laboratory activities in compliance with GMP and internal guidelines.
• Adhere to quality SOPs, GMP, and safety regulations.
• Conduct and document method verifications for new projects.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laboratory.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Background in biology or a related field, such as training as a biology laboratory assistant or a BSc in biology.
• Practical experience with at least one of the following methods: PCR, endotoxin measurements, protein synthesis, or bioburden testing.
• Familiarity with microbiology is advantageous.
• Experience in a GMP-regulated environment is a plus.
• Adaptable and comfortable with changing project challenges.
• Proficiency in German and good command of English.
