What you’ll do:

• Lead and develop a team of senior qualification, validation, and start‑up experts, including full responsibility for hiring, coaching, performance management, compensation, and disciplinary matters.

• Establish and manage a local Center of Excellence for Operational Start‑up and Operations Qualification (OQ support, PQ leadership) for biologics facilities.

• Provide operational user support during facility qualification and start‑up, ensuring strong operations input into commissioning and qualification activities.

• Contribute expert knowledge to capital investment projects and strengthen operations teams throughout qualification and start‑up phases.

• Drive operational start‑up planning in early project phases and collaborate with Operations Heads to define resource plans for CQV and start‑up.

• Coordinate and facilitate start‑up activities (tools, procedures, processes) as a service provider to end users, while standardizing the PQ approach up to full GMP readiness.

• Build and manage a pool of external resources, promote Lonza culture through collaboration and continuous improvement, and represent the area as part of the Ibex Readiness Leadership Team.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Life Sciences, Biotechnology).

• Recognized expert in qualification and validation of biopharma facilities.

• Deep understanding of bioprocesses, GMP requirements, and biopharmaceutical manufacturing.

• Extensive experience in the start‑up of new biopharma production facilities.

• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to guide and develop high‑performing teams.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at senior internal and external levels; strong business acumen and team orientation.

• Structured, proactive, and solution‑oriented working style.

• Open‑minded, receptive to new ideas, and committed to continuous improvement.
