Due to the growth at our site in Visp, we are currently looking for a Material Coordinator – Logistics Process Engineer
The Material Coordinator (Logistics) is responsible for end ‑ to ‑ end ownership, performance, and continuous improvement of the material call ‑ off and transfer process from Central Warehouse / 3PL to the BioAtrium Site Warehouse, ensuring material availability in line with production demand and site priorities. The role operates at site level, acting as the logistics process owner for material availability, translating demand signals into execution strategies, managing risks, and driving performance across multiple stakeholders

What you will do:
- Full end‑to‑end ownership of the BioAtrium material call‑off and transfer process.
- Define and maintain rules, priorities, and escalation flows for material movements.
- Ensure consistent, compliant execution of material flows amid changing plans and demand volatility.
- Act as the single point of accountability for site‑level material availability and flow continuity.
- Coordinate Supply Planning, Warehouse Operations, and Production to align on priorities, constraints, and risk mitigation.
- Lead daily/short‑term decisions for material flow execution and serve as the first escalation point for material shortages or risks.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs related to material availability, transfer reliability, delays, and shortages to drive proactive risk management.
What we are looking for:
- Technical or commercial education in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations.
- Several years of experience in supply chain, logistics coordination, or material flow management.
- Strong hands‑on knowledge of SAP (MM / WM / EWM).
- Experience working in a GMP‑regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong sense of process ownership and accountability.
- Ability to lead cross‑functional coordination without direct authority.
- Analytical, KPI‑driven mindset with clear, structured communication across all levels.
