The site in Visp, Switzerland is growing and for our Biologics organization, we are currently looking for a MSAT Bioconjugates Single Use Expert . Lonza has a strong track record in the manufacturing of Bio C onjugates from early clinical to large scale commercial supplies. Our dedicated Protein Conjugation Plant facility (PCP) is recognized as a center of excellence for Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADC) as well as other classes of Bio C onjugates. We are experiencing an increased demand in this area and as part of Lonza’s Ibex® Dedicate model, new B io C onjugation suites are being built out within a pre-existing shell.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the Manufacturing and MSAT team to select Single Use Technology (SUT) for a new production concept (TT/ scale up/ suite change/CAPEX).

• Promote SUT harmonization within bioconjugates

• Support introduction of new equipment especially for CAPEX projects

• Actively participate to SUA qualification and verification

• Support Bioconjuagtes and site SUT related initiatives

• Communicates with key suppliers

Key requirements :

• Master or PhD or equivalent experience in Bioconjugation, Biotechnology, chemical engineering, organic chemistry or related fields

• Solid ( >5 years) industrial experience in single use technology and/or manufacturing

• cGMP experience and deep understanding of Bioprocess technology

• Excellent communication skills for interaction within the project organization

• Proficiency in English is required ; knowledge of German is considered an asset.

• Creative, agile and open-minded
