As an Plant Engineer (80-100%) (m/f/d) in Visp, Switzerland, you will step into a role where you drive small‑scale engineering projects, ensure GMP‑compliant plant performance, and support operational excellence across documentation, maintenance, and training. What you’ll do:

• Planning and executing partial and small‑scale projects, such as process engineering calculations and plant optimizations.

• Conducting feasibility studies for new installations and/or modifications of existing systems, including cost estimates, timelines, and functional assessments.

• Performing risk analyses, plant trials, operational changes, and providing departmental support such as stand‑ins and on‑call duties.

• Updating and reviewing plant documentation, such as flow diagrams, zoning and layout plans, bills of materials, and change control according to GMP requirements.

• Contributing to the monitoring and adherence of the available budget (maintenance, modifications, and investments) within the area of responsibility.

• Supporting the training of plant operators and workshop personnel regarding process and equipment knowledge, as well as safety, hygiene, environmental protection, and quality (cGMP).

What we’re looking for:

• Completed technical education (HF/FH) or a university degree (ETH/University) in mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a comparable field.

• Several years of professional experience in engineering, ideally in a GMP‑regulated environment or within pharmaceutical or biotechnological production.

• Strong proficiency in MS Office; experience with SAP, DMS, TrackWise, and COMOS.

• Excellent English skills and German is an advantage

• Independent, structured, and solution‑oriented working style.

• Strong team player with excellent communication skills, especially when collaborating with Quality, Production, MSAT, and other cross‑functional partners.

• Experience with — or willingness to work according to — GMP, ISO, and pharmaceutical quality standards.
