The actual location of this job is in Visp, Switzerland. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed.

As Trainee Technology Infrastructure in Visp, you’ll work alongside experienced engineering teams to validate concepts, support plant design, and contribute to projects from feasibility through successful start‑up. With your background in process or chemical engineering, you’ll gain hands‑on experience across interdisciplinary project work, documentation, and sustainability initiatives.

What you’ll do:

• Supporting verification of ideas and requests, feasibility and conceptual studies for projects until the internal approval for execution together with the internal and external team members (Electrical-, Measurement- and Controls Engineering, Civil Engineering, HVAC-Engineering, 3D-Planning and Field Engineering/Construction Management, …).

• Active participation in plant design, and execution of projects together with internal and external engineering partners until and including successful plant start-up.

• Compiling/verification and handover of the technical as-built documentation to the future owner and operator

• Support activities (technical, coordination, networking) for sustainability ideas / projects as well as monitoring progress of them

What we’re looking for:

• Engineering degree (Bachelor / Master / Dipl.-Ing. FH or University) in Process Engineering, or Chemical Engineering, or comparable engineering disciplines

• First experience in process and/or chemical engineering and project engineering is a plus

• Good knowledge of German and English language are completing your profile.
