About the team:

The SAP News team is an international group of news editors dedicated to creating journalistic articles on SAP's most relevant topics worldwide. We publish these articles on our global online platform with the aim of engaging, inspiring, and giving employees a voice.

Working at SAP News offers you the chance to gain hands-on experience in online journalism, encompassing both editorial and technical aspects of running a multimedia online publication for a global audience. You will gain insight into various projects and support them aimed at informing and engaging employees.

Location: Walldorf, Germany (remote work possible internationally)
Expected start date: September 1, 2025 (or later)

In this role, you’ll:

• Give editorial support for our online employee news channel
• Give technical support (e.g. content upload, editing, and publishing through our platforms and tools)
• Edit, translate, and proofread journalistic texts
• Research and write articles and interviews on SAP-related topics
• Give project support
• The preferred start date for the internship is September 2025 for a duration of 6 months. This is a full-time position (40h a week)

Who you are:

You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Preferably studying in the fields of Journalism, Communications, Languages, or Business Administration
• Bringing editorial experience: Please describe your experience and knowledge in working with texts or editorial work
• Possessing the following computer skills: MS Office, WordPress, basic HTML, and image processing/editing (e.g., Adobe Photoshop/Gimp) are a big plus
• Having either English or German as your mother tongue
• Demonstrating excellent English or German writing and editing skills
• Experience in online-journalism is a nice to have but not a must
• In addition, being self-motivated, proactive, creative, and team-oriented

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.

Note for Germany: currently the SAP Internship Experience Program is only open to interns and being hired into other contract types such as working students will preclude the candidate's participation in the program.
