What you'll do

As the Senior Solution Advisor / Presales Specialist (f/m/d) – Focus on Logistics , you will be the go-to person for any solution or product questions related to delivery processes within the sales team. Your expertise in SAP delivery solutions will be instrumental in supporting the entire sales cycle, from opportunity identification to post-sale customer success. In this role, you will assist customers in optimizing logistics, improving delivery timelines, and achieving operational excellence, ensuring their SAP footprint delivers maximum value.

• Provide deep process and solution-specific expertise in Delivery Management to support new sales and adoption for key customers.
• Deliver both standard and customized/personalized solution demonstrations that showcase the innovation and efficiency of SAP's Delivery solutions like Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) , Transportation Management (TM) , Yard Logistics , or Business Network (BN) for Logistics .
• Support the Account Team by delivering solution presentations and events tailored to Delivery Management, helping to identify and qualify new opportunities and increase adoption of SAP solutions.

• Evaluate account qualification criteria to determine further investment in pursuing opportunities
• Establish yourself as a thought leader within the account team and fine-tune account strategy
• Collaborate with the team in creating overall themes and competitive differentiation
• Conduct vigorous dry runs on strategic deals and customer engagements
• Transition engagement to implementation partner/ Services teams effectively
• Engage with customers to continue selling the vision of SAP solutions and ensure eagerness for renewal
• Leverage digital assets throughout the customer engagement, including demos, presentations, and other content

What you bring

• Professional experience with large software/IT organizations, preferably in a solution-specific segment
• SAP product experience and 3-7 years of relevant solution Business process experience in Supply Chain Management (especially Deliver)
• Working knowledge of Cloud, Hosted Services, and Software as a Service/Platform as a Service models in the Business-to-Business Environment
• Viewed as a solutions/Lines of Business/Industry expert across SAP with a track record of success in Supply Chain Management
• Focus on creating compelling storylines and themes for customer interactions
• Ability to quickly understand customer business goals and ensure they are at the center of recommended solutions
• Passion and energy in all customer interactions
• Full working proficiency in German and Business English

• The Solution Advisory department for Digital Supply Chain of SAP Germany supports all sales units of SAP Germany with strong expertise of SAP´s Digital Supply Chain solution portfolio along Design to Operate. The team creates future demand for our solutions and creates professional demonstration, explanation, and value proposition of those solutions to our customers and prospects.
• With our competences and our know-how in SAP’s Digital Supply Chain solutions, we explore problems and challenges of our customers and provide the best possible solution capabilities. In this phase, as Solution Advisory we take over planning and coordination of activities with which we convince the customer of our solution focusing always on the added value for our customers to be able address customer’s business and IT units even more efficiently.

• Global Digital Content Factory: Leverage digital assets created by the team throughout customer engagement
• Implementation Partner/Customer Services & Delivery: Efficiently transition customer engagement for successful deployment and realization of solution value
