What you'll build

Create and maintain design concepts and development guidelines for screen reader support in SAP UI framework control libraries on web and mobile platforms. Offer respective consultation services for developers. This will help blind users to use SAP products more efficiently.

Your location will be Walldorf. You will work there in close collaboration with experienced colleagues.

What you bring

• Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
• Preferred fields of study: Informatics, Human-Machine Interaction, Accessibility
• Programming languages and web standards: HTML, JS, CSS, WAI-ARIA, Java (Android), Swift (iOS)
• Language skills: Fluent in German, English; written and verbal
• Soft skills: Team player, expert in organizing, creative
• Other important skills / experience: Work experience is a plus
• Working from Walldorf office is required

Where you belong

The Accessibility and Inclusive Design Team at SAP provides the Accessibility Strategy for SAP with the goal of supporting our users with usable software, our customers with compliant products and our product teams with effective guidance and tooling.

We own Product Standard Accessibility, its testing methods, and provide consultation and enablement to our product teams. As Accessibility is a legal obligation to many of customers, we run the Accessibility Customer Compliance Office to offer respective information to our colleagues in customer facing roles and procurement deliverables to our customers as part of SAP's Trust Center.
