ABOUT THE JOB

• As Global Category Manager (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the global procurement of IT/telecommunication services and hardware/software products in the team
• You are responsible for the development and implementation of category strategies in the areas of hardware, software and IT services
• You will coordinate global savings projects, develop sourcing projects and implement them via electronic catalogs, among other things
• You keep an eye on technical trends and market developments in the IT sector, carry out continuous risk assessments and develop measures to reduce costs
• Furthermore, you will analyze and evaluate categories and build up an adequate supplier structure for the entire IT area
• You control contract management, negotiate supplements and resolve contractual conflicts in collaboration with Legal & Compliance

• Several years of professional experience in the field of strategic purchasing and negotiation management, especially in the purchasing of IT/telecommunication services; IT licenses and hardware/software products
• Sound knowledge in the management of complex IT sourcing projects
• Experience in the management of challenging change projects
• Ability to think strategically and develop long-term strategies for the procurement category
• Very good communication skills and advanced knowledge of English
