A Snapshot of Your Day

As Finance Head (m/f/d) Commercial Offer & Order Management at the Large Power Transformers Factory in Weiz, Austria, you will collaborate closely with internal colleagues and external customers globally. Together with our Commercial, Offer and Project Management teams, you will work to develop solutions that support both our business and our customers. You will foster strong internal and external relationships, promote collaboration, and ensure that all financial aspects are considered throughout the entire offer and project lifecycle.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Take full responsibility for all financial activities from the proposal phase through to project closure
  • Lead and empower a team of Commercial Offer and Order Managers, ensuring sound financial offer management and project execution and compliance with internal policies, guidelines, and standards
  • Coordinate internal escalation processes such as Bid Releases and Limits of Authority, ensuring adherence to governance requirements locally but also globally
  • Support and lead customer negotiations for complex contracts in collaboration with internal stakeholders during both the offer and execution phases
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting, operational tasks, and planning activities, and contribute to the budgeting process with a focus on key performance indicators such as order intake, revenue, profitability, and cash flow
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the factory network and with counterparts locally and in our regional units. Drive the simplification and digitalization of internal processes, explore AI capabilities, and align commercial activities across countries

What You Bring

  • A degree in business administration or a related field, along with relevant experience in commercial project management and/or sales
  • Strong business acumen and a solid understanding of commercial project and sales processes
  • Experience in managing commercial aspects of projects and/or sales, including participation in complex customer negotiations
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. A recognized project management certification is considered beneficial
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a collaborative and inclusive approach to teamwork combined with a proactive, flexible mindset and a proven ability to work independently and deliver results
  • Proficiency in both German and English, written and spoken, with the ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment

Please note that there is a clear willingness for a higher compensation considering your individual expectations, expertise and skills. The minimum salary for this position in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry is in the amount of €66.676,26 gross/year for a full-time position (38,5 h/week).
