Ihre Aufgaben

• Physical design and installation of electrical aircraft systems and harnesses according installation requirements.
• Space allocation of equipment and definition of harness routings
• Define physical interfaces between systems and primary structure and systems to systems (interface control documents, ICDs)
• Definition and buildup of configured product breakdown structures
• Create and release data for manufacturing (3D models in CATIA, drawings, bill of materials) for detail parts, sub assemblies, harness data for manufacturing and mechanical and electrical installations.
• Coordination of the design with all parties involved
• Support to the V&V process, requirements management if required
• Plan and execute the activities according the overall program schedule through all different product development phases to secure all design deliverables.

Ihr Profil

• experience in the field of systems design and installation / airframe design
• Experience with design processes, methods and tools (2D/3D CAD, PLM and config tools), especially with current CATIA workbench for EWIS physical design (V5 and CATIA 3DX)
• Educated Engineering degree (MA Eng/Sc, Dr./PhD.) in aeronautics / aviation or mechanical
• 5+ years professional expertise in relevant fields of aircraft development and system installation/airframe design
• Good knowledge about airframe certification requirements, design criteria, materials
• Ability to prioritise, manage and execute multiple simultaneous tasks
• Product development experience of several aircraft programme
• Good presenting, communication and leadership skills
• Good knowledge on harness routing and installations rules advantageous (redundancy, segregations, protections, bend radius, attachment, marking, etc..) and familiarity with a 3D harness routing tool
• Knowledge about manufacturing drawings
• CATIA, 3D Experience
