(m/f/d) (Full-Time, 38.5 hours/week)
Reporting directly to the General Manager Pharma Austria, the Business Unit Head Oncology will be responsible for establishing and executing GSK Oncology commercial strategies in order to maximise impact for patients and commercial value.
GSK’s Oncology portfolio of marketed products includes first and best-in-class therapies in women’s cancers and hemato-oncology. Our promising pipeline is expected to further expand our impact across multiple tumour types in the near future.
Key Objectives:
- Lead a high performing and competitive team in oncology with a portfolio in women’s cancer and hemato-oncology
- Lead the development and execution of ambitious and competitive brand strategic and operational plans working with the full cross-functional team (including commercial, medical, pricing & market access)
- Accountability for Commercial Oncology P&L, including target setting at the top line and operating profit level and resource allocation
- Lead internal launch readiness reviews, monthly performance reviews focused on financial results and progress with competitive KPIs at the local and above-country level
- Build and maintain productive, professional relationships with medical experts and key stakeholders bringing external insights into the organisation while building and protecting GSK’s reputation
- Work collaboratively with regional and global functions (across commercial, medical, government affairs and market access)
- Ensure strategies and activities are developed and executed in alignment with GSK`s high ethics and compliance standards and all applicable local legal requirements and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Recent Oncology experience in multi-national, innovative bio-pharma
- Strong scientific literacy and understanding of key treatment pathways across at least two tumour types
- Prior sales leadership and marketing experience, including at least one oncology product launch
- Strong coaching, communications, and team management experience
- Proven track-record of operational delivery & execution
- Professional written and verbal communication skills in German and English. Able to deliver compelling and effective communications internally & externally and foster excellent working relationships with stakeholders at the local, regional level.
"Annual gross base salary in line with the market, starting from minimum
€127.500 with corresponding overpayment, depending on your qualifications and relevant experience, as well as lucrative bonuses and company car.”
