Lead, inspire, and shape the future of Lenovo’s Channel business in Austria.
As Channel Sales Manager AT, you will lead a high-performing, diverse team of 7-9 Partner Account Managers. Together with your team, you will identify growth opportunities, define strategic priorities, and execute action plans to further expand Lenovo’s Channel footprint across Austria. Your scope covers Lenovo’s full portfolio — hardware, services, and solutions. You will be accountable for driving financial results, increasing market share, and ensuring operational excellence on a daily basis.
This role reports directly to the Channel Sales Director for Austria & Germany.
Beyond people leadership, you will manage departmental resources, short-term planning, and budgeting with a clear focus on execution and continuous improvement.
What will be your responsibilities?
Strategic Ownership
* Develop and execute strategies that accelerate partner-driven sales in Austria while aligning with overall business objectives.
* Build and scale new channels and route-to-market approaches to strengthen resilience and future-readiness.
Partner & Stakeholder Engagement
* Build, develop, and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key business partners.
* Collaborate closely with european and regional management teams to drive cross-functional initiatives.
Operational & People Leadership
* Lead, coach, and develop your team — including skill development, performance management, and objective/KPI steering.
* Conduct in-depth business analyses, identify bottlenecks, and coordinate cross-functional solutions.
* Actively manage your department’s resources and planning processes.
Networking & Influence
* Drive efficient stakeholder management and represent your organization confidently at senior levels.
How should your profile look like?
* 5-7 years of proven experience in strategic sales, with strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
* 3-5 years of experience in the channel environment, ideally with an established network in the Austrian partner ecosystem.
* Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop teams.
* Entrepreneurial mindset: creative, analytical, hands-on, and highly collaborative.
* Strong ability to adapt communication styles across stakeholders, negotiate effectively, and build relationships at senior executive levels.
* Expertise in understanding reseller business models and fostering long-term customer relationships.
* Team player with excellent communication skills in German and English (written and verbal).
