Mantell Associates has formed a partnership with a venture capital firm who invest in precision medicine diagnosis. They are seeking a Chief Operations Officer to lead company operations.

Chief Operations Officer – Responsibilities:

• Spearhead operations within the organisation and take full top level responsibility
• Work closely with the leadership team to define operational strategy and direction
• Continue to build a high performing GMP team with a culture of Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement
• Play a key role in directing future growth and success of the organisation

Chief Operations Officer – Requirements:

• Bsc. in Biology or related Life Science discipline, Msc. or PhD preferred, MBA also desirable
• Experience in biomanufacturing or pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Outstanding knowledge of business principles and cultural awareness
• Possesses strong business development skills, able to identify and convert leads into long-term relationships
• Demonstrated experience in senior leadership roles
• Proven track record of successfully leading and developing teams
• Brings extensive industry experience and established network within industry
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and secure large contracts
• Possesses an entrepreneurial mindset and comprehensive knowledge of the market landscape
• Skilled in working collaboratively with Senior Management teams, as well as Partners and other key decision makers within the industry
