To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced software architect for our Vienna location who will help design innovative IT solutions and translate our technical visions into sustainable system architectures.

Your tasks with us

• You will design, develop, and operate applications and CI/CD pipelines for highly reliable cloud and IoT systems
• You will design and operate cloud and on-premises infrastructures in security-related projects
• You will support development teams in automating build, test, and deployment processes
• You will ensure system availability, scalability, and performance through monitoring and logging solutions
• You will support the full-stack development team
• You will develop infrastructure-as-code solutions (e.g., with Terraform or Ansible)
• You actively introduce new technologies and standards to the team
• You work closely with project managers and software architects and act as a sparring partner for DevOps strategies
• You feel comfortable in an agile environment/team

You should bring the following with you​

• Completed technical education in computer science, software engineering, or comparable (university/university of applied sciences)
• Several years of experience in DevOps and infrastructure projects
• Very good knowledge of containers (Docker, Podman) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, k3s, k8s)
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, optionally AWS) and their automation
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Puppet, etc.)
• Experience in monitoring and logging (e.g., OpenSearch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Know-how in network technologies, IT security, and Linux system administration
• Very good German and English skills
• Structured, solution-oriented way of working and team spirit
