Group Associate Expert Supply Planner (m/f/d)

Your main tasks and responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the production plan in alignment with demand forecasts, production capacities, and inventory targets
• Evaluate the impact of production changes on global demand and adjust the production plan to customer needs
• Assess the effect of demand fluctuations on planned production and replan accordingly to avoid overstock or stockouts
• Balance global supply and demand; proactively identify imbalances and propose effective resolution strategies
• Prepare demand and supply plans for weekly S&OE meetings
• Escalate issues affecting short-term planning and execution, and follow up on defined actions and decisions
• Confirm product availability and communicate any changes in the supply plan to Corporate and Local Customer Service teams
• Drive continuous improvement, have open mindset for changes and new initiatives & contribute to S&OE projects and initiatives
  

Your expertise and ideal skill set

• Academic education in Supply Chain & Logistics, Engineering or Business Informatics
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in Supply Chain area, preferably in manufacturing environment
• High level of computer literacy in MS Office, in particular Excel and used to work with SAP
• Excellent English skills (written and spoken)
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical and rational decision-making skills
• Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
• High level of attention to details and accuracy of information

The minimum gross salary according to the collective agreement (chemical industry) is EUR 4.270,14 based on 38 hours per week (full-time). As we strive to offer a salary that reflects your individual profile and qualifications, there is a willingness to pay above the minimum salary.
