We are seeking a Head Finance within our Commercial Operations organization, based in Vienna - initially limited for 9 months.
This role provides strategic and operational financial leadership for Commercial Operations in Austria, ensuring robust planning, performance management and governance in line with corporate strategy.
As a key member of the commercial leadership team, the Head Finance shapes strategic direction through rigorous financial insight, enabling sound, data‑driven decisions that safeguard value and accelerate sustainable growth.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Provide strategic financial leadership to the country organization, offering analytical insights and recommendations that support long- and short‑term business decisions, growth plans, resource allocation and investment strategies.
- Lead and manage all financial planning processes, including monthly, quarterly and annual planning cycles, forecasting, budgeting, goal setting and target monitoring.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Country Head, Country Commercial Leadership Team, business units and enabling functions, offering proactive financial guidance and serving as a sparring partner on strategic and operational topics.
- Analyze operating results , proactively identifying risks, opportunities and performance gaps; initiate corrective measures and drive innovative approaches to improve business volume, sales and profitability.
- Ensure robust financial control and governance , covering budgetary and purchasing controls as well as adherence to all financial, administrative, corporate and compliance standard
- Drive high-quality financial reporting , ensuring accuracy, integrity and timely delivery of reports to relevant stakeholders. Prepare and present results as required.
- Lead people and capability development within the Finance function, fostering talent selection, development and retention while building a strong, engaged and high‑performing team.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
University degree in economics, business administration or a comparable qualification in finance
At least 5-6 years of experience in Finance and Controlling
Show strong sense of urgency in solving problems and getting work done
Ability to build strong and sustainable relationships locally and within the region
Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking ability, leadership skills and the ability to inspire and develop teams
Excellent MS Office and SAP knowledge
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Fluent in English; German is an advantage

In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is EUR 85.704,64/year (on a full-time basis).
The actual salary will be significantly higher, as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience, qualifications and individual competencies.
