Department Description:

Business Integration and Technology is a part of the Erste Digital Finance & HR Solutions division and provides IT services for the entire Erste Group and the CEE countries. We integrate and operate SAP systems in the areas of accounting, ordering, invoicing, controlling, planning, reporting & analysis and HR. In our multi-culti team, we support the full lifecycle of our applications from analysis through design, implementation, test, documentation to prod support.

What to do:

• Learn: Software Development Life-Cycle Processes. See how an idea becomes a feature used by millions of users.
• Test Mobile Apps: Write and execute manual test cases for mobile applications. Learn to identify bugs and ensure a seamless user experience on iOS and Android.
• Explore API and Backend Testing: Learn basic API concepts and run basic API tests to verify data accuracy and backend data flow, reporting issues with guidance from developers.
• Gain Web Development Insights: Test web-based features, understand front-end technologies, and work with developers to ensure quality across web platforms.
• Learn QA Tools: Get hands-on with industry-standard tools like Jira for issue tracking, Confluence for knowledge tracking and Zephyr for test management.
• Get familiar with Test Automation: Explore test automation concepts and tools like Cypress, Rest Assured and Appium.
• Contribute to Projects: Participate in the Agile team ceremonies and provide QA feedback and input.
• Collaborate for better Quality: Work with colleagues outside of your team to ensure high-quality deliverables across projects.
• Grow with Guidance: Progress from basic tasks to advanced responsibilities with continuous support from your team and chapter colleagues

• We offer you a varied part-time internship position (20-30h/week) for 12 months. An internship salary of 3175,00€ for Bachelor Students or 3300,00€ for Master Students (gross per month on a full-time basis) is offered.
