Logistics Manager (m/f/d)

We are looking for two experienced and forward thinking Logistics Managers, one working for the production site and one for the sales unit who will play key roles in managing our global logistics operations, optimizing supply chains, and supporting our international business growth. If you bring strong industry expertise, excellent analytical skills, and a hands on mindset, we’d love to meet you.
Your Profile
• 5+ years of experience in logistics management, ideally in the pulp & paper industry or other commodity sectors
• Preferably holding a freight forwarding (Spedition) certification and/or a customs certification
• Willingness and ability to travel within Europe and to overseas ports and warehouses
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a structured approach
• Solid user knowledge of ERP systems (ideally SAP) and transportation/logistics software
• A proactive, solution oriented mindset with excellent communication and negotiation skills
Your Main Responsibilities
• Manage and negotiate all warehouse, forwarding, and shipment contracts across our logistics network
• Represent heinzelsales/Heinzel Paper in group-wide logistics projects and cross-functional initiatives
• Select and manage logistics service providers (forwarders, customs brokers, inspection agencies, shipping lines) in close cooperation with the sales teams
• Handle and resolve logistics-related claims together with the sales departments
• Lead and implement new logistics projects based on business needs (e.g. new export markets such as Paraguay)
• Provide regular reporting and strategic insights to the management

: managing approx. 50 employees, organisation and ongoing optimization of the warehouse, raw materials logistics, and the transportation department

We offer a gross annual salary from EUR 65.000,- with the willingness to overpay depending on experience and qualifications.
