The department Model Methodology & Development is the central function responsible for the development and maintenance of models used in the analysis of credit risk, in particular regulatory Pillar 1 IRB models, Pillar 2, IFRS 9 and business supporting models. It is also responsible for the definition of group-wide standards.
Your Tasks
- Develop, maintain and enhance statistical models with advanced modelling techniques to assess credit risk, including random forests, gradient boosting, and other machine learning methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Stay up to date on industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices
- Present findings and recommendations to all relevant stakeholders
Your Background
- Advanced academic degree in a quantitative subject such as mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, or related field
- Profound knowledge in applied statistics, machine learning with focus on predictive modelling and computation, knowledge and experience in banking business preferred
- Strong working knowledge of statistical software such as Python (or R) and data manipulation using SQL
- Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work effectively in team environments
