in the Quantum Foundations and Quantum Information Theory research group led by Prof. Caslav Brukner.
The Brukner group’s research interest focuses to gain insight into quantum foundations and quantum information by exploiting operational and information-theoretic approaches. The team has recently applied them to the field of causality and gravity.

Now the IQOQI Vienna is offering a Praedoc DISS position to a highly motivated and well-qualified student to carry out research within a Praedoc thesis project in the field of Quantum Foundations and Quantum Information Theory.
Your Profile
- Diploma or Master’s degree physics or related discipline
- Master or diploma thesis in quantum science preferred
- A strong background in quantum foundations
- Excellent English skills
