Intro

We’re looking for a (Senior) EU Project Coordinator to lead our participation in European funding programs, drive international partnerships, and ensure all projects run smoothly from application through reporting and compliance.
We are a young deep-tech company that creates and produces internationally awarded smart glasses. Our headquarters are in Vienna - where we innovate, develop, and manufacture both hardware and software under one roof. Although our roots are in Austria, we are “born global” and collaborate with customers and partners across Europe and the world.

Tasks
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identify financing opportunities, project partners, and build strong consortia
- Lead and support all phases of EU project lifecycles, from proposal writing and budget planning to day-to-day implementation, reporting, and documentation
- Monitor milestones, deliverables, and progress for internationally funded initiatives, prepare documentation for partners and stakeholders
- Analyze, consolidate, and communicate project objectives, impact, and data internally and to funding bodies
- Engage with public authorities at the federal, state, and EU level for organizational, content, and financial matters—including invoicing and compliance
- Present results to funding organizations, ensure all reporting and audit requirements are met
- Proactively adjust project plans as needed in response to EU guidelines, partner feedback, or funding changes
Requirements
What You Bring to the Team
- Completed education with project management expertise (university degree desirable, not required)
- Substantial experience managing EU-funded projects, including international grant applications, proposal writing, controlling, compliant financial reporting, and strategic positioning within multi-country consortia
- Deep knowledge of EU and Austrian funding instruments, project planning principles, work packages, and governance structures (e.g. Horizon Europe, Interreg, LIFE, etc.)
- Familiarity with complex EU project processes—from consortium agreements to final reporting, audits, and performance reviews
- Confident use of MS Office and project management tools (e.g. PM² methodology, Jira, Excel)
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to structure, consolidate, and communicate complex information for diverse, international audiences
- Excellent written and spoken English and German
- International experience in project management, teamwork with stakeholders from varied countries, and knowledge of cross-border regulatory requirements
- Demonstrable team spirit, initiative, and enthusiasm for working in international consortia and interdisciplinary environments

Closing
We offer a minimum gross salary of €3.175,-/month – more may be possible depending on experience.
