Senior Insurance Manager (f/m/d)

Your Tasks

• Manage the company’s global insurance portfolio, including property, liability, cyber, D&O, transport, construction, and business interruption insurance
• Assess insurance needs and ensure coverage is aligned with the company’s risk exposure
• Lead the annual insurance renewal process, including negotiations with brokers and insurers
• Review policy wording, endorsements, and exclusions to ensure adequate protection
• Support contract reviews with a focus on insurance-related clauses
• Oversee claims handling and ensure effective communication with insurers for timely resolution
• Coordinate internal investigations and documentation of incidents and losses
• Analyze claims trends and recommend preventive and risk mitigation measures
• Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders including finance, legal, operations, procurement, and project teams
• Provide guidance on risk and insurance matters for strategic initiatives, investments, and contracts

Your Profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field
• Professional certifications (e.g., CRM, ARM, FERMA RIMAP, CIP, or equivalent) are an advantage
• min. 5 years of experience in insurance management or brokerage
• Experience managing complex insurance programs, ideally in international or asset-intensive industries
• Strong understanding of ERM frameworks, claims processes, and insurance markets
• Experience working with brokers, insurers, and external advisors
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial mindset
• High level of integrity and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented approach
