SpringWorks Therapeutics, a healthcare company of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to improving the lives of patients with rare tumors.

We developed and are commercializing the first and only FDA and EC approved medicine for adults with desmoid tumors and the first and only FDA and EC approved medicine for both adults and children with neurofibromatosis type 1 associated plexiform neurofibromas (NF1-PN).

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Set and implement local priorities aligned with company strategies, overseeing execution and outcomes against defined commercial KPIs
  • Lead and develop a cross-functional team, fostering collaboration and performance excellence
  • Own P&L responsibility and drive strategic budget planning to achieve financial targets and market growth objectives
  • Develop and execute Market Access strategies in collaboration with regional and global stakeholders
  • Ensure seamless communication across functions while representing the company to external stakeholders including healthcare authorities
  • Conduct performance management for direct reports and provide input to global functional leadership
  • Drive patient identification through advocacy partnerships and digital patient engagement initiatives
  • Build a diverse team with rare disease expertise through strategic recruitment and specialized training
  • Facilitate customer engagement strategies across the healthcare ecosystem, including payers and policy makers
  • Optimize resource allocation across commercial functions while leading digital transformation initiatives

Who you are:

  • 10+ years of managerial experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a proven track record of delivering topline and bottom-line results at country level and drug launch experience.
  • Experience in rare Oncology or closely related rare disease environment is a strong plus
  • Proven experience in full P&L responsibility, incl. strategic planning/execution to drive revenue growth/cost optimization
  • Demonstrated strong leadership and interpersonal skills across teams and functions
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans in alignment with broader objectives (regional/global)
  • Strong communication skills and experience in engaging with a diverse range of rare disease stakeholders
  • Solid experience in commercial operations, including resource allocation, budget responsibility, sales, and marketing activities
  • Flexibility and willingness to engage in both domestic and international travel as required
  • MSc or PhD in Business Administration, Life Sciences or related areas
  • Fluency in English and local language
