Team Lead (m/f/d) - Product & Process Development

Your main tasks and responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and empower a high-performing team of scientists and lab technicians
• Drive, develop and oversee multiple projects focused on blood plasma products
• Provide technical expertise and scientific guidance across all stages of product lifecycle
• Manage and coordinate lab operations and organizational activities
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and scientific excellence
• Prepare and present reports, project updates, and scientific insights to stakeholders
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Project Management, Regulatory Affairs, Quality and Manufacturing
• Contribute to department budget, strategy, structure and resources planning

Your expertise and ideal skill set

• Completed degree (PhD preferred) in Life Science, Biotechnology, (Bio-) Chemistry, or related field
• Minimum 4 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, with focus on process development
• Proven leadership skills and strong enthusiasm in leading a team of scientists and technicians
• Expertise in downstream processing, protein characterization, and/or formulation development
• Solid understanding of GxP principles, laboratory methodologies, and regulatory processes
• Extensive scientific background with excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset
• Proficient in German and English (oral + written)

The minimum gross salary according to the collective agreement (chemical industry) is EUR 4.686,11 based on 38 hours per week (full-time). As we strive to offer a salary that reflects your individual profile and qualifications, there is a willingness to pay above the minimum salary.
