At Schiebel, we are increasing our global operational footprint and operations, therefore we are looking for highly motivated UAS Operators who are willing to travel for short and long-term deployments and reinforce our teams worldwide. Our highly qualified Training Team will ensure you are fully trained before deployment (training will take place in Austria/Wiener Neustadt for a duration of typically two weeks). This role is targeting licenced CAMCOPTER® S-100 Operators on a work contract-basis, with the option of short-term (3-6 month) or longer-term (12 month) contracts.

Thereafter you will be deployed to different parts of the world (land and/or ship-based operations) on rotational basis (various options available) as a member of our Flight Operations Teams.

  • Maintain situational awareness of the air vehicle's location, in-flight status, and threats to the aircraft from air and ground
  • Constantly monitor weather on-site and along intended flight paths
  • Continually re-evaluate risk assessments and take appropriate actions to mitigate any elevated risk levels
  • Capture critical information for input into after-action reports and lessons learned
Professional, accommodating behaviour, internally and externally
  • Work in compliance with all system related and operations related regulations (Duty of Care)
  • Proper usage of system documentation and creation of internal and external reports (Duty of Documentation)
  • Participate in relevant meetings and conduct briefings on request
  • Develop and facilitate continuous product and service improvements

What you bring

  • Must be an EU citizen or have the unrestricted right to work in the EU/ Schengen Area e.g. work visa
  • Have strong technical skills and knowledge preferably from previous experience in aviation
  • S-100 Operator Qualification is an advantage but not mandatory
  • Excellent communication skills in English , both verbally and written
  • Proactive attitude and capable of working under minimal supervision
  • Must be willing to travel overseas for extended periods of time

Your Characteristics

  • Excellent team player within a multi-national team
  • Strong work ethics & proactive attitude
  • Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines
  • Highly responsible and takes safety as the highest priority

Ready to take control where precision, responsibility, and innovation fly together?
