At the earliest possible date, we are looking for you to work 30.0 hours/week in the Dermatology Clinic at Helios Dr. Horst Schmidt Klinik Wiesbaden as a

Medical Technical Assistant (m/f/d)

• Cutting tissue blocks and preparing them for automatic embedding in kerosene blocks
• Cutting the kerosene blocks, staining the kerosene sections with automatic staining machines or manual staining with various special stains
• Manual mounting of the preparations
• Preparation of frozen sections for frozen section and immunofluorescence optical procedures on the cryostat
• Monitoring the reagents required in the histology laboratory

• Completed training as a medical technologist / medical-technical assistant (m/f/d)
• Professional experience in a comparable function
• Practical knowledge of immunohistochemical staining
• Mastery of staining with the direct immunofluorescence method with FITC-conjugated antihuman antibodies on frozen sections
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
