We are looking for someone who is eager to be part of this journey from the very beginning and help shape it. In this role, you will design, train, and refine concrete applications using state-of-the-art LLMs, fully immersing yourself in the process. Together with our GenAI team, you will independently implement innovative AI solutions in our internal IT. Additionally, you will develop initial use cases for our clients, redefining their industries.

Your job

• LLM Power: Your main task is to develop useful applications with state-of-the-art language models (LLMs) such as Llama 3 or commercial LLMs. These include applications like chatbots and agents
• Data Strategy: You implement innovative strategies for data preparation (embeddings, document splitting, data preprocessing) to improve the efficiency and performance of models and applications
• Smarter Data Access: You develop and refine retrieval strategies to enable targeted data extraction
• Tech Toolbox: You use techniques like RAG, prompt engineering, and function calls in the applications
• Team Player: You collaborate with other teams and clients, promoting a better understanding of AI applications
• Innovation: You keep an eye on the latest developments in AI and machine learning – and put them directly into practice

What you bring along

• You are studying (business) informatics, engineering, business administration, or a similar field
• You have initial practical experience in implementing (Gen)AI projects
• You have some experience with RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation)
• You possess knowledge of embedding and document splitting strategies
• You have an understanding of model architectures, their capabilities, applications, and fine-tuning potential
• You have a passion for AI and the ability to transform complex concepts into actionable solutions
• You possess fluent German and English language skills
