WinGD is looking for a

Expert Classification (m/f/d)

Workload: 100%
Startdate: By agreement

Responsibilities:

• Maintain / establish relationships to classification societies
• Organisation of Design- and Type Approvals for WinGD technologies
• Support of internal units and engine manufacturers in classification related matters
• Procurement, self-study and storage of rules and standards from classification societies and normative institutes, with a focus on retro fit projects for the entire technology portfolio
• Maintenance of Classification Portals and internal IM tools
• Maintenance of Spare Part Lists and Parts Acceptance Databases

Requirements:

• Degree in mechanical engineering (BSc., MSc., Dipl.-Ing. or equivalent)
• Profound knowledge of 2-stroke marine diesel / dual fuel engines and technologies
• Willingness to travel abroad a few times per year
• Good communication and cooperation skills
• Independent, structured and target oriented
• Fluent in English / fluent German is of advantage
• Self-driven personality
• Team player mentality
