Morgan Philips is seeking an Executive Housekeeper on behalf of one of its clients – a prestigious 5-star hotel located in the heart of one of the most beautiful ski resorts in the Valais region. This is a full time position, reporting to the Director of Rooms and part of the Executive Committee.
In this magnificent 200-room property, the Executive Housekeeper will ensure a true 5-star guest experience in an exceptional setting, while preserving the historic building and respecting the surrounding environment.
Please note: the hotel will close at the end of the 2025/2026 winter season for a complete renovation and upgrade to a top-luxury 5-star standard.
The Executive Housekeeper will play an integral role in the renovation, reopening, and repositioning project alongside the leadership team.

Reporting to the Director of Rooms, the Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for:
- Organizing and supervising the housekeeping service to ensure cleanliness, service quality, and the overall presentation of the premises;
- Managing the housekeeping team, from recruitment and training to talent development and deployment;
- Overseeing the daily operations of housekeeping and laundry services;
- Ensuring the implementation and adherence to quality and safety standards;
- Handling guest requests and following up on any complaints;
- Planning and inspecting daily cleaning tasks to guarantee the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas;
- Actively contributing to the renovation planning phase, providing expertise on layout, materials, operational needs, and service flows from a housekeeping perspective;
- Participating in the reopening strategy, including team recruitment and training, setup of new procedures and standards, and supporting the repositioning of the hotel as a top-luxury 5-star property.
- Degree or diploma in hospitality management;
- Strong understanding of the expectations and standards of a 5-star / luxury clientele;
- Proven experience in a similar role or as Assistant Executive Housekeeper in a high-end property;
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills;
- Proficient in computer systems, particularly MS Office;
- Strong team spirit and leadership qualities;
- Fluent in both French and English; knowledge of another language such as German, Spanish or Italian is an asset;
- Creative, enthusiastic, and guest-oriented personality.
