What you're going to do

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our team of engineers developing the leading mobile payment app on the Swiss market (>5 mio users). In this application users can pay in shops and online, as well as transfer money to any phone number.

You will work as a member of a distributed team with colleagues in Hungary and Switzerland.

You will be part of a Scrum team consisting of native mobile engineers (iOS - Swift, Android - Kotlin), manual testers and other roles involved in the development lifecycle. You will be responsible for the following tasks:

• design, develop, maintain features that meet high quality and security standards
• provide unit tests to verify your implementation
• maintain and improve code quality (especially through code reviews)
• investigate, analyze, and fix incidents and performance issues from production
• collaborate with the customer and project leadership in Switzerland
• give and receive constructive feedback

What we're looking for

• confident knowledge in Android (Kotlin)
• knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns and best practices
• familiarity with RESTful APIs
• good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
• experience with Coroutines, Jetpack Compose is nice to have
