About the job:

As an Associate Partner at Synpulse, you will be responsible for expanding and deepening our relationships with key clients in the financial services industry. You will play a central role in identifying client needs, shaping tailored solutions, and driving business growth. Acting as the voice of the client within Synpulse, you connect strategic challenges with our consulting expertise – always with a focus on long-term partnerships and sustainable impact.

  • Developing business line within Synpulse, identifying opportunities, leading sales efforts, and managing and developing client relationships
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of organization
  • Conduct interviews and workshops to define future state visions and prioritization of opportunity areas that deliver value across people, processes, data & technology while ensuring buy-in from clients’ senior management
  • Produce solutions to complex problems demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the subject matter and an ability to think independently and communicate such concisely
  • Mentor consultants and senior consultants to increase their industry specific knowledge
  • Conducting market and trend analyses to support the business identifying strategic opportunities for growth
  • Act as a thought leader and define business development and marketing activities in the region
  • Maintain and develop industry knowledge to keep a breadth of client needs and proactively recommend new and innovative solutions
About you:
  • Educated to bachelor’s degree level from a reputable university, while ideally holding an advanced degree (MA, MSc, or MBA)
  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience within Banking industry at a management consulting firm, or management function within a financial firm with long term exposure to project delivery
  • Evidence of sales successes and project acquisition by leading activities or supporting senior management
  • A detailed understanding of the opportunities and dependencies both business and technology play in a client’s organisation
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels internally and with client teams and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, managing teams across projects or workstreams
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative skills with the ability to identify complex problems, consider them analytically and conceptualise solutions
  • Impeccable communication, presentation and facilitation skills, and experience communicating with clients at various levels across an organisation
  • Fluent in German and English
