In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

As the Value Business Case Lead (f/m/x) in the Value Orchestration & IGX Team, you will own the development, validation, and tracking of business cases for AI and automation initiatives. You will ensure that opportunities are strategically aligned, financially justified, and capable of delivering measurable value at scale.

You will operate at a senior level, partnering with executives, finance leaders, and delivery teams to define the economic, operational, and strategic impact of initiatives. This includes shaping portfolio-level investment decisions, defining value realization strategies, and ensuring ongoing measurement and optimization.

Primary roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation of business cases for high-priority AI and automation opportunities.
• Define financial, operational, and strategic benefit metrics for each initiative.
• Collaborate with finance, delivery, and business stakeholders to validate assumptions.
• Establish value realization plans and track benefits through delivery and adoption phases.
• Present business cases and investment recommendations to executive governance boards.
• Maintain a portfolio-level view of value delivery, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Ensure alignment with governance processes, strategic priorities, and compliance requirements.
• Mentor team members on value modelling and benefit realization best practices.

• Proven experience leading business case development for large-scale technology or transformation programs.
• Strong financial modelling, ROI analysis, and benefit tracking skills.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and investment decision boards.
• Excellent ability to translate complex business and technical inputs into clear value propositions.
• Proven ability to define and manage portfolio-level value strategies, balancing strategic priorities, risk, and return on investment
• AI expertise applied to the HR domain.
• Fluency in English and German.
• Swiss/EU passport or valid permit required.

• Familiarity with value frameworks, benefit realization methodologies, and financial governance.
• Background in consulting or enterprise transformation strategy.
• MBA or equivalent advanced business/finance qualification.
