What would your role be?

• Parametrization in our core banking system, Avaloq, with a primary focus on our transaction and regulation reporting services under Swiss and European legislation.
• Perform additional Avaloq parametrization activities to maintain regulatory tax services.
• Drive developments forward together with the business experts, perform in-depth requirements analyses, implement new regulatory requirements and process innovations.
• Get involved with solution design, as well as programming, parametrization, and testing to ensure the availability of business-critical regulatory services and to support bank-wide platform projects.
• Pursue the shared goals of regulatory compliance, client satisfaction, quality improvement, efficiency gains, and ensure smooth operations.

What are we looking for?

• Several years of software engineering experience in the banking and finance sector.
• Relevant Avaloq parametrization experience and a willingness to continuously acquire new knowledge in this area.
• Initial experience with regulatory transaction reporting, such as FinfraG, MiFID II, EMIR, and/or tax related topics (e.g. US Tax, Financial Transaction Tax) would be beneficial.
• Enthusiasm for new technologies, motivation to master technical knowledge in the complex field of regulatory reporting and the ability to take responsibility.
• Very good communication skills in English and German are mandatory.
• Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to take ownership of your work and personal growth.
• Good analytical skills, solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently.
