At Chimpy, we’re on a mission to bring peace of mind to 100 million Europeans by making powerbanks for rent available wherever people need them most. We invented circular convenience 10 years ago and now we are working to bring our must-have service across Europe.
To do that, I need your help.
I’m looking for a new team member that works in our business development team, someone who will help us find our next distribution partners and make it easy for them to say yes to us.
What you’ll do
- Dig deep into target companies. Understand their market, business, customer base, and internal dynamics better than themselves. Find out their wants, needs, and fears. If you can do it with Deep Research, even better.
- Join store visits, customer interviews, field trips, and industry events to talk to people and learn. Try this one with AI.
- Develop compelling cases for why Chimpy belongs in their locations and how we are going to make it a success together. Craft pitch material that is sharp, relevant, and speak to what matters most
- Prepare and refine meeting strategies: who we talk to, what we say, what we ask, what we leave behind.
- Track and organize feedback, learnings, and next steps to turn one-off meetings into long-term partnerships.
- Help finding new product-market fits as our target industries and our product offerings expand
Who you are
You are the right fit if:
- You’ve worked on B2B partnerships and have a solid grasp of how to land deals and what it takes to move a deal from first contact to contract.
- You’ve seen how large organizations work and know how to connect with the people inside them, from store staff to senior managers.
- You’re curious by default and can figure things out quickly and don’t need to be told what to do
- You’re looking for a place where you’ll be trusted, challenged, and where your voice matters
- You care about your teammates and people like having you around
Bonus if you have
- 2+ years experience working with or selling to retailers/FMCG companies or a background in category management, key accounts, sales ops, consulting or project management
- A talent in empathizing with others and an understanding that work with customers and partners is all about people
- Very good knowledge of German, English and perhaps another European languages (cause, again, it’s about people)
