Your role

Are you passionate about ensuring an excellent client experience with real-time payments available 24/7, 365 days a year? Do you want to actively drive transformation and contribute to the Instant- and Future Payment Platform change initiative impacting UBS's payment ecosystem?

In P&C Operations, we are the experts in how the firm operates and drive changes to ensure future-oriented solutions and excellent client experience. The Instant- and Future Payment Platform Initiative aims to implement Instant payments solution for UBS clients and modernize the payment platform for the next decades with 100% STP.

We are looking for a Business Tester to:
• execute end-to-end acceptance tests, including defect management and tracking
• creation of acceptance test scenarios and cases for new releases according to the release scope
• reconcile closely with business analysts across all the initiative to understand requirements and scenarios to test
• create test data for use cases (new contracts, business relationships, and accounts)
• collaborate closely with IT testing teams
• drive test automation topics
• communicate with stakeholders: act as a liaison between business stakeholders, testers, business analysts, and developers to ensure high-quality end-to-end testing
• identify opportunities for process improvement

Your team

You will be working within the Instant- and Future Payment Platform Initiative in the Business Testing team, which is responsible for end-to-end testing of payment workflows from both client and business perspectives and provides sign-off for go-live. The Business Testing Team interacts closely with all Instant Payments PODs, IT testing teams, business analysts, and other internal UBS stakeholders, as well as partner banks, SIX, and Bundesbank.
The team is based in Opfikon and Altstetten.

Your expertise

• fluent in English and German
• over 5 years of experience in payments, with a focus on testing and test analysis
• expertise in payments, particularly SIC, SEPA including recalls, and market clearing
• exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritize workload effectively
• strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly grasp complex topics
• project management expertise, including experience with agile frameworks
• proactive, with a growth mindset and a can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all departments and levels, both internally and externally
• IT-affinity
