Our client is an independent global asset manager. Financials have been at the core of its expertise since inception, spanning across credit, equity and private debt. Over the years, the firm has widened its capabilities to global credit and global equity, including Italian equity. On the private investments side, the firm supports the transition to a greener and more sustainable economy, via its private equity solutions.
As a specialist asset manager, our client`s focused and thematic approach has been the cornerstone of its strategies. The asset manager manages approximately €28 billion in assets, with a global team of over 175 professionals across offices in London, Milan, Rome, Zurich, Dublin, Boston, Singapore, and Tokyo.

Responsibilities

Strategic Market Planning:

  • Collaborating with market leadership to develop strategies and execution plans to meet client objectives.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance visibility, such as product features, speaking engagements, and research summaries.
  • Managing RFIs, sales presentations, and material fulfillment to ensure all processes are completed on time.
  • Coordinating with internal departments (e.g., marketing, legal) throughout the sales cycle.
  • Preparing management reports to track business progress.
  • Collaborating with a team to share ideas and best practices.

Sales Process and Responsibilities:

  • Participating in and preparing for large prospecting meetings and coordinating follow-up actions.
  • Handling requests through various channels (e.g., web research).
  • Representing the company at industry conferences and seminars to maximize prospecting opportunities.
  • Making outbound calls to introduce the company and secure meetings.
  • Taking responsibility for sales success with predefined clients to generate interest and secure partnerships with distribution platforms.
  • Developing and executing a business plan for these clients and providing regular updates to management.
  • Ensuring excellent client service and building trust to support client needs.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of professional experience in the asset management or fund industry in a similar role.
  • Strong technical skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and client-service orientation.
  • Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets and the asset management industry.
