This position holder is overall responsible for establishing and managing a global set of controlling processes in the area of responsibility, related regulations and drive harmonization and standardization of these processes. - Works closely with the global finance functions, the CP&O Capability Center including front offices, Reiwa Controlling Deployment & Transformation, BUs, Regions and Countries as well as relevant global company functions
Your responsibilities
Establish and manage the global controlling process structure for the area of responsibility in close cooperation with the CP&O Capability Center, BUs and related functions
Identify the customer demands of related stakeholders for the organizational area of responsibility. Prepare and provide business requirements for changes in the global controlling process and related ERP template in close cooperation with the Reiwa ERP Reiwa controlling template product owner, BUs, IS and finance functions
Drive harmonization and standardization for controlling processes in area of responsibility in close cooperation with the CP&O Capability Center, BUs and related functions
Jointly define the service catalogue for CP&O in the area of responsibility in collaboration with the CP&O Capability Center, aligning the service scope between involved delivery organization and stakeholders, e.g the CP&O Capability Center, CSS Finance, IS, Group Reporting & Consolidation
Establish and manage related global regulations for the global controlling processes in the area of responsibility in close cooperation with Reporting & Consolidation, Finance function, BUs and IS and, where required, with Hitachi HQ.
Govern key template elements of the specific area of responsibility (Process Documentation, User Story, Functional specification, mapping documents, related test scripts, training documents)
Publish and maintain related key information in the foreseen channels in close alignment with the finance function
Establish and maintain a governance model for process changes aligned with the governance model for the global ERP controlling template for the area of responsibility in close cooperation with the ERP controlling template product owner, BUs, IS and finance functions
Manage process change request in alignment with change requests for the global ERP controlling template for the area of responsibility in close cooperation with the ERP controlling template product owner, BUs, IS and finance functions
Support continuous improvement of controlling processes for the area of responsibility together with the CP&O Capability Center
Represent area of responsibility in decision bodies for controlling related processes and related controlling ERP template and non-ERP tools and system architecture
Support Internal Controls to define Control owners and Control performers and related documentation for Global Controlling processes. Act as Control Owner for global process in the area of responsibility if defined accordingly.
Coordinate the key and power user network globally related to the specific area of responsibility as the overall global "template/product owner"
Represent the global controlling processes and related ERP controlling template for the area of responsibility towards external and internal auditors
Your background
Master’s Degree in Finance and Accounting or Business administration
More than 10 years of experience in Accounting, Finance or Controlling
More than 7 years of experience in managing ERP projects in the CO and FI Module and change projects
Proven track record of managing change and working in a service delivery model environment
Robust process understanding of the C&P content and technical perspective
Operational business experience as a SAP key / power user
Operational technical finance manager profile
Very good understanding of Hitachi Energy Business set-up and interconnections
Ability to interact, lead and own global projects and programs
Excellent communication, partnering and advocating skills, capability to drive change management
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Proven ability to prioritize and focus detailed tasks on vital key issues
Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives to an agreed budget and timelines
Ability to think ahead and anticipate prioritizing and plan activities
Ability to quickly assimilate complex information and take independent action where necessary
Ability to provide direction for process excellence, standardization and optimization initiatives
Proficient knowledge of SAP CO and FI Module including table structures and System Architecture
Understanding of end-to-end process and data flows across organisation at business and finance side of Hitachi Energy
Fluent in English, other languages are a plus
