For our client, an internationally operating technology-driven industrial company with approximately 2.000 employees worldwide, we are looking for a Senior Financial Director (m/f/d).

The company operates in a highly specialized B2B environment, serving global industrial customers across technically demanding sectors. As a key member of the local management team, the Senior Financial Director will play a pivotal role in steering financial performance and ensuring compliance with both local and international standards.

• Disciplinary leadership of a finance team of 4 employees
• Lead the annual budgeting process, periodic forecasts and long-term financial planning in accordance with IFRS (group reporting standards) and under German GAAP (HGB)
• Act as a commercial sparring partner within the local and international management team
• Provide in-depth analyses of revenues, margins, productivity, efficiency and cost absorption, identifying risks and improvement opportunities
• Monitor project and contract profitability, including standard cost variances and margin development
• Continuous development and optimization of financial processes and systems
• Ensure robust internal controls, financial governance and compliance with Group policies
• Main contact for all finance-related matters (internal stakeholders, external auditors, tax advisors, authorities)
• Handle tax-related issues in cooperation with advisors

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a comparable qualification
• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive finance experience in international industrial/manufacturing organizations Proven disciplinary leadership experience with an empathetic, team-oriented style
• Strong expertise in industrial and standard costing methodologies
• Business-driven mindset with strong decision-making capability
• High level of ownership, commitment and reliability
• Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
