Tasks
🎯 Your main goal will be to deliver warm, effective support that bridges our AI-powered tools with the human touch our users love - while helping keep marko’s community and content safe, respectful, and trustworthy.
To do so, here are your responsibilities:
- 💛 Be the human face of marko’s support resolving user issues via chat and email with empathy and clarity.
- 🧹 Support moderation of user-generated content (UGC) across the platform including listings, comments, and direct messages.
- 🤖 Partner with our AI assistant to deliver fast, accurate help while stepping in when things get nuanced.
- 🔍 Spot trends and user pain points, and help shape user experience and process improvements.
- 🧩 Be part of our next chapter, help shape how AI and human support come together to make secondhand feel even more personal, fast, and inspiring.
This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible, part-time work – whether you're a student balancing studies, a parent managing family life, or anyone seeking a 30-50% work rate that adapts to your schedule.
You’ll typically work 1 to 3 hours a day. Availability during weekends is especially valuable.
Requirements
- 🇬🇧 Fluent in English
- 🇨🇭 Fluent in Swiss-German or French, the more, the merrier.
- 🪀 Clear communicator with a kind, patient approach, even under pressure.
- 💡 Comfortable with tech and curious about AI, sustainability, and secondhand culture.
- 🏡 Self-starter who thrives in flexible, remote environments.
- 🎒 Experience in support, content moderation, or fast-paced environments is a plus - but we value mindset over resumes.
