We are seeking a strategic and technically skilled Data Warehouse Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and governance of our centralised Azure-based data lake as soon as possible.
This role will be responsible for integrating data from Salesforce, Totango, SAP, and our internal product ecosystem, ensuring data quality, accessibility, and compliance.
The role is based in our beautyful redesigned headquarter in Zürich-West -hybrid/remote working is a given.
Your responsibilities
- Define and own the data lake vision, roadmap, and success metrics
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to prioritise data sources and use cases
- Oversee ingestion pipelines from Salesforce, Totango, SAP, and internal systems
- Ensure data governance, lineage, and cataloguing using Azure Purview or equivalent
- Manage data lake zones (raw, curated, transformed) and enforce access controls
- Coordinate with DevOps and security teams to ensure compliance and scalability
Your skills
- 5+ years in data engineering, analytics, or platform ownership roles
- Proven experience with Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse, or Databricks
- Language skills; German/Swiss- German as a native speaker- English-business fluent (written and verbal) are essential- every additional European language is a plus
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks
- Experience integrating SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Totango)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
