We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Delphi Developer to support our small message transformation core team.

The ideal candidate should have a background in the banking or financial services area and experience with financial messaging. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, as much of the work involves understanding existing systems and supporting client-related requests (no direct client contact).

Tasks

Your Role

• Perform format and gap analysis of existing systems
• Take ownership of converter development
• Ensure daily maintenance and further development of legacy applications
• Analyze and improve existing Delphi codebases to support ongoing projects
• Provide technical support for internal teams handling client requests (no direct end-customer interaction)

Note: Approximately 30% of your time will involve coding, with the remainder focused on analysis, system understanding, and internal support activities.

Requirements

You Offer

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer
• Solid knowledge in object-oriented design and implementation, as well as quality assurance (unit tests, automated testing, TDD)
• Extensive experience with Delphi (minimum 2 years)
• Willingness to work with Delphi and legacy applications
• Experience writing technical specifications and documentation
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
• A self-motivated and enthusiastic approach to teamwork
• Fluent in written and spoken German and/or English
